A custom halogen fiber optic System was used to light this cast glass sculpture. Variations in both fiber size and fittings were interwoven into a custom "backdrop" fabricated by SurroundArt, an exhibits/display company. Full scale mockups were constructed with the artifact to determine optimal fiber locations and luminance to enhance the aesthetic properties of the sculpture.
