In this 80,000 sq. ft base building renovation, two floors were converted into exhibition space. A suspended curved ceiling grid that unifies the space and creates identity was also used to house recessed track for flexibility of lighting locations. Existing base building lighting was selectively moved, used, or eliminated to enhance the exhibits. A special feature included four layers of 30’-0” x 5’ polycarbonate panels depicting the security aspect of the $20 bill – each layer was independently illuminated with fiber optics and circuited for sequential viewing.
