The hot desert climate dictates that peak visitation to this open-air museum will occur at night; therefore, the exterior lighting master plan is designed to orient visitors and provide a safe and informative experience – all while protecting the integrity of the site by designing for a minimal infrastructural footprint. Innovative lighting solutions and state-of-the-art technologies dramatically illuminate the venerable character of ancient palaces and the city center of the first Saudi State.
