Translucency, transparency, refraction, diffusion, color balance, and surface washes define programmatic zones and enhance the rich architectural palette of Rasika. The main bar and dining area are separated by an “architectural chandelier,” a custom lighting detail of suspended crystal chains illuminated by uplights in a concealed cove in the banquet, projects refracted light onto the ceiling for a striking and unconventional effect. Concealed LEDs in coves animate the ceilings, while decorative pendants and sconces provide a thematic ambiance throughout the spaces. The dynamic lighting plan is controlled with a programmable dimming system.
