The renovation of two floors included a new 200 seat auditorium with multiple lighting systems for different functions, a double height outer lobby, boardroom, and workspaces. In the Auditorium, standard fluorescent biax lamps in coves, halogen downlights, and Surface mounted projectors are controlled remotely from a control room dimming system to respond to the various auditorium events including live CSPAN coverage and panelist speakers. The double height outer lobby is illuminated with adjustable downlights and a fiber optic system that articulates the ceiling structure. In the boardroom, lighting details were developed to conceal adjustable art lighting and compliment traditional molding and millwork.
